June 2008
 Cleveland Tubing, Inc. celebrated working 365 plus days with no accidents—that’s right NO accidents.  We are very proud of all of our associates who make safety a priority every day.

 Cleveland Tubing, Inc. implemented a major recycling initiative in September of 2007.  Since then, our disposal bill has dropped by 90%.   By recycling pallets, cardboard, office paper, strapping, shrink wrap, production waste, aluminum cans, glass, Type 1 and Type 2 plastic bottles and containers, we have dramatically reduced our waste stream.

Cleveland Tubing was recertified as a woman owned business by the National Women Business Owners Corporation.

 Cleveland Tubing, Inc. exits the business of manufacturing drinking straws.
February 2008
 Cleveland Tubing, Inc. launched its latest retail product in late February 2008. The product is a sump pump expandable hose kit for 1 ¼” and 1 ½” sump pumps. The product expands from 6 to 24 feet and comes with a 1 ¼” hose barb, 1 ½” reducer bushing and hose clamp to work with most of the sump pumps that are on the market.  Joe Martin recently joined Cleveland Tubing, Inc. as our Logistics Manager.  Joe comes to us with a wealth of logistics experience.

 Jeff Upton joined Cleveland Tubing, Inc. in September of 2007.  Jeff has worked in a number of manufacturing environments in a variety of capacities, and looks forward to putting that experience to work at Cleveland Tubing, Inc.

 Cleveland Tubing introduced the
FLEX-Drain® Coupler.  This coupler can be used to join two cut ends of FLEX-Drain®.

Cleveland Tubing, Inc. introduced the
Flex Connector, a male to male              flexible/expandable connector that can be used to join two pieces of traditional 4” corrugated pipe or 4” PVC pipe.  Flex Connector can be used in place of a 90º elbow where additional flexibility is needed because of a compound curve or an angle that is greater than or less than a 90º bend.

December 2006
 Cleveland Tubing launched the next phase of the FLEX-Drain® family of products in December of 2006.  At this time we began marketing 12’ sections of both the solid and perforated versions of FLEX-Drain®.

FLEX-Drain was given the Do it Best Members Choice Award for BEST NEW PRODUCT, PLUMBING at the Do it Best Fall Market in Indianapolis, IN.
